An Australian line of mixers, which have enjoyed success on the on-premise market, is generating repeat orders after three weeks for two of its products on Woolworths' eastern seaboard supermarket shelves.
AFRN thought: We were given the Brook’s Lime Juice cordial for tasting and found it a quality product - at least equal to Schweppe’s Lime Juice which is the market leading lime mixer for lemon, lime and bitters...

The Homer Hudson ice cream brand has staged a comeback on the Australian market. In just one year, it has gained market leadership in the super premium ice cream category under the new ownership of its original marketing team. Unilever withdrew the product from the market seven years ago.

Nudie has entered the functional food market with the release of three new Crushie fruit juice varieties – Brazilian Boosters, Energy and Detox. These contain exotic Brazilian fruits and pulps said to have many health properties.
AFRN thought: Nudie has done it again – produced fruit crushes with unusual tastes. The addition of the Brazilian “good-for-me” type fruit is an innovative response to Berri’s SuperJuice release promoting health properties...

Sydney-based Rota International has released a new brand of innovative baked, low fat and cholesterol free snackfood, called Wild Snacks, described as “crispy baked bread stix infused with the flavours of Australia”.
AFRN thought: We bought a pack of Sour Cream & Myrtle Wild Snacks and, if the other flavours are as tasty, this high quality product should succeed...

Starbucks Australia has launched what is said to be the world’s first pure Timor coffee, Timor Lorosa’e. This is a fair trade certified coffee from East Timor which guarantees higher than current commodity prices for East Timorese coffee farmers.
